Discover a unique and innovative garden, carefully designed by its owners and gardener to complement the home’s recent renovations and irregular shaped plot.  Featuring clever angles and unexpected elements, this water-wise oasis showcases a captivating mix of indigenous fynbos and succulents, attracting insects and birdlife to support local biodiversity.  A saltwater pool and daisy lawn (Lippia) add to its charm, creating a beautiful and sustainable outdoor space.

Cate and Tony Fishlock
This delightful & stylish garden is in the heart of the village. The eco pool is a serene focal point and creates a sense of space and tranquility.  The water is kept in pristine condition by the plantings through which the water is filtered.  In keeping with the natural surroundings of the eco pool, Cate & Tony’s garden has predominantly indigenous plantings.  The water-wise kitchen garden is in raised planting boxes and uses a watering system based on wicking which uses 80% less water and encourages strong root systems. Birds, insects, frogs and squirrels abound. This garden is worth a visit.

Tucked away in the valley, like a hidden treasure, this magnificent garden unfolds as a delightful surprise.  A series of unique cypress arbors provide a shaded and intimate welcome, setting the tone for a peaceful journey.  Nestled on the gentle slopes of the Franschhoek mountains, the garden’s meandering pathway through a small forest invites you to wander around the serene lake, whose tranquil waters reflect the beauty of nature. In this idyllic setting, the lake’s calm waters and the garden’s lush surroundings converge to create a sense of deep tranquility. Take time, too, to wander through the orchard and vegetable garden that burst with vibrant colors and textures.
